Originally from the Pennsylvania, Sean comes from a creative and entrepreneurial family. Design, art, and building were integral parts of his upbringing. Growing up outside of Pittsburgh, trips to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater were frequent and further spurred his love for good design.

Sean attended Iowa State University for Architecture, then the University of Pittsburgh for Economics and Finance. For nearly ten years he has worked with developers, contractors, and other designers to make clients’ dreams a reality. In 2020 he had decided to acquire Pohan’s Upholstery after the Glass fire had destroyed the business originally located in Calistoga. He and Derek have worked tirelessly to ensure the tradition and reputation of Pohan’s has continued while keep the original team together in the new location in Napa near Fuller Park.

Currently, Sean resides in Napa, CA with his partner Derek. Outside of design, Sean is an avid cook, gardener, automotive enthusiast, and weightlifter. Together, Sean and Derek have made Napa home since 2021 and continue to explore the picturesque valley they call home.
